Ebony Jefferies
England U20s international Ebony Jefferies has become a mainstay of Susie Appleby’s side, forming a powerhouse back-row unit alongside the likes of Maisy Allen and Rachel Johnson.
On-field success is no shock to the Truro-born forward, having been part of the Exeter University side that won back-to-back BUCS Gold titles in 2018 and 2019 at Twickenham.
Formerly of Bristol Bears, Jefferies excelled in her first season of Premier 15s rugby, playing every match for the Chiefs as they finished sixth in the table.
The following season, she continued her excellent form and, in scoring four tries against DMP Durham Sharks, she put herself into the Exeter record books for most tries in a match, an honour shared with Louise Burgess.
As one of the 'originals', Jefferies continues to clock up the appearances for Chiefs, tipping over the 75-game mark in the 2023/24 season.
Away from training and match days, Jefferies is one of our Community Chiefs coaches.
