A new signing ahead of the 2022/23 season, the towering frame of Jack Dunne joined Chiefs from United Rugby Championship outfit, Leinster Rugby.
Starting playing rugby at the age of five, Dunne attended St Michael’s College in Dublin and subsequently entered the Leinster sub-academy immediately upon leaving school in 2017.
Within a year, he had already been promoted to the full academy and was selected for Ireland’s Under-20s in the 2018 Six Nations and World Under-20s Championship.
In the same year, Dunne was part of the Celtic Cup-winning Leinster A side and made his senior debut for the Irish province in February 2019 against Zebre.
A player with a high work-rate and hands to match, his arrival at Sandy Park was seen as quite a coup having been part of the Leinster set-up for five seasons.
