Exeter Chiefs back Phil Dollman has been given a boost ahead of Saturday's Aviva Premiership final against Wasps with the news that he has been called up to the Wales squad for the two-Test tour against Tonga and Samoa in June.

The uncapped 32-year-old will replace the injured Rhun Williams in the squad after being called up by coach Robin McBryde today.

Dollman will now join club-mate Tomas Francis in the tour party and will compete with Gareth Anscombe and Sam Davies for the full-back shirt.

The Welshman - who has made 191 appearances for the Chiefs, scoring 21 tries in the process - joined the Devon club in 2009 from the Newport-Gwent Dragons and has been an integral part of the club's rise, both in the Premiership and Europe in recent season.

He marked his return to action following a hamstring injury last weekend, featuring in Exeter's 18-16 semi-final win over recently-crowned European champions Saracens at Sandy Park.
