Vintcent on Italy Bench for Wales Six Nations Clash

Ross Vintcent has been named in the Italy matchday squad for their first home fixture of the 2025 Guinness Six Nations.

Gonzalo Quesada has total confidence in the team that made its debut in Edinburgh as against Wales, Italy change only one player in the starting line-up.

Niccolò Cannone comes in to start in place of Lamb, while Jacopo Trulla takes the place of Simone Gesi on the bench. In fact, there is only one real change in the 23 with the two second rowers swapping places. 

The Italian coach pulls straight in the most important decisions: confirming Paolo Garbisi and Allan back on the field at the same time with Capuozzo wing, confirming a back row much stressed in defense in Edinburgh with Negri, Lamaro and Lorenzo Cannone and above all confirmed a front row that put Scotland in great difficulty, with the props Fischetti and Ferrari great protagonists.
