Vintcent Named in Italy 2024 Autumn Nations Series Squad

Exeter Chiefs back rower Ross Vintcent will feature for Italy in this year's Autumn Nations Series.

Gonzalo Quesada, Head Coach of the Italian Men's National Rugby Team, has named his squad for the training camp in Rome scheduled to start on Sunday 27 October in preparation for the Vittoria Assicurazioni Autumn Nations Series 2024.

The Azzurri will meet at the "Giulio Onesti" Olympic Preparation Centre in the capital to begin the build-up to the first Test Match against Argentina.. The full team will reach Friuli two days before the kick-off of the match against the Pumas. 

Italy's matches will be broadcast live on Sky Sport channels and free-to-air on TV8.

34 athletes have been called up by the Italian technical staff. Two debutants are on the list: Tommaso Di Bartolomeo – hooker at Zebre – and Giulio Bertaccini, centre for Zebre.

Fly-half Tommaso Allan, the most experienced among those named with his 80 caps, and prop Pietro Ceccarelli, after being part of the squad in the 2024 Guinness Six Nations, return to the Azzurri. Also present in the group are scrum-half Alessandro Fusco – who took part in the first training camps led by Quesada in 2024 in preparation for the Six Nations – and second row Dino Lamb, returning after injury and being called up for the first time with the new coaching staff after the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
