Tuima Called Up to England A

Rusi Tuima has joined Exeter Chiefs teammate Greg Fisilau in England A camp having been announced as a late call-up ahead of their game this weekend. 

Sale Sharks prop Asher Opoku-Fordjour and Exeter Chiefs lock Rusi Tuima have joined Mark Mapletoft’s England Men A camp in preparation for Sunday’s match against Australia A at the Twickenham Stoop.

Opoku-Fordjour is a recent World Rugby U20 Championship victor, who won the tournament under the guidance of current Men A coaches Mapletoft, Andy Titterrell, Nathan Catt and Haydn Thomas. He joins the set-up after training with Steve Borthwick’s senior men’s side at Pennyhill Park this week.

Chiefs’ second-row forward, Tuima, has also been invited into camp, having scored in the A side’s previous encounter with Portugal in February.

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) can also confirm Red Roses attack coach Louise Meadows has joined camp to complement the coaching set-up in preparation for the weekend’s Test.
