Three Exeter Chiefs players have been named in Eddie Jones' 35-player England squad for a three-day training camp in Teddington.

Jonny Hill and Jack Nowell, together with Patrick Schickerling, will meet up at The Lensbury tomorrow as they continue preparations for next weekend’s match against the Barbarians and July’s tour of Australia.

Hill and Nowell are no strangers to life in the England set-up, but it's a first-ever call-up for Schickerling, who has impressed many this season since returning from a loan spell with the Cornish Pirates.

The 23-year-old prop has featured 18 times for the Chiefs, scoring five tries in the process. He will be joined in camp by club-mate Luke Cowan-Dickie (knee) and Anthony Watson (calf issue) who will both be undertaking rehab work.

Players who are involved in this weekend’s Gallagher Premiership semi-finals are not available for selection.

Jonny May returns to the squad after recovering from a knee injury. There are first involvements in a senior England camp for Biyi Alo, Charlie Atkinson, Freddie Clarke and Sam Jeffries.

Jones said: “With a number of players unavailable because of the Premiership semi-finals, we’ve got the opportunity to call up some new players.

“It’s a great opportunity to learn about them and see what potential they have to play a part in the Australia tour. We look forward to continuing the good work from our last camp in developing this team on and off the pitch.”

Tickets are available for England v Barbarians FC priced from £25 for adults and £12 for under 16s. The match is live on Amazon Prime Sport.

England then travel to Australia to face the Wallabies in Perth (Saturday 2 July, 11.05am BST KO), Brisbane (Saturday 9 July, 11.05am BST KO) and Sydney (Saturday 16 July, 11.05am BST KO). All matches will be live on Sky Sports.
