7/3/23
Exeter Chiefs back Henry Slade has been retained in a 27-man England squad for Saturday’s Guinness Six Nations Championship clash with France at Twickenham (4:45pm).
The Plymouth-born centre will be looking to keep his place within Steve Borthwick’s starting line-up having recently featured in the victories over Italy and Wales.
He is the sole representative from the Chiefs after back-row forward Sam Simmonds was released back to club duties today.
Elsewhere, Courtney Lawes has withdrawn from the squad with a shoulder injury.
