Police have implemented extra security measures for Saturday's Premiership Final at Twickenham Stadium between Exeter Chiefs and Wasps.

The enhanced security comes following Monday night's terror attack in Manchester, which has killed at least 22 and injured 59.

Chiefs and Wasps fans have been advised to arrive extra early on Saturday ahead of the 2.30pm kick-off, and are advised not to bring bags.

An RFU Spokesperson said: "We have been operating enhanced security measures for some time and will continue to do so for both match days this weekend. We work closely with the police for all our events at the stadium.

"Any fans planning their trip should allow extra time to access the stadium and avoid bringing bags where possible."

Meanwhile, Premiership Rugby officials have confirmed that Exeter Chiefs supporters will be able to use their ref radios for the final.
