Prop Jack Owlett is to leave Exeter Chiefs at the end of the season and move to Gallagher Premiership rivals Wasps.

The former Scotland Under-20s tight-head will move to the Ricoh Arena after spending the past three seasons with the Chiefs, whom he joined as part of their senior academy through the club’s links with the University of Exeter.

The 23-year-old made his first team debut for the Chiefs in the Anglo-Welsh Cup win against Cardiff Blues in November 2016.Since then, he has featured six times for the club, including last season’s Anglo-Welsh Cup Final, where he helped the Chiefs to defeat Bath at Kingsholm.

As well as featuring for the Exeter Braves in the A League, Owlett has developed his game in recent years, featuring for Taunton and Plymouth Albion in the National Leagues, as well as for Championship outfit Cornish Pirates this season.
