New date for Cup Final confirmed

Premiership Rugby can confirm that the Anglo-Welsh Cup Final 2018 will be staged on Good Friday (30 March) with a 2.30pm kick-off at Kingsholm Stadium, live on BT Sport.

The match between Bath Rugby and Exeter Chiefs was postponed last Sunday after severe weather conditions hit the Gloucester area.

“Tickets for the original match will be valid for the new date but we will also be offering all fans who can't make it a refund,” said a Premiership Rugby spokesman.

“As we all hope Gloucester Rugby will qualify for a home European Challenge Cup semi-final the Easter Weekend is currently the only viable option for the match as our policies on player welfare ensure that we would only play a match in midweek in exceptional circumstances.

“All parties involved have worked quickly and tirelessly to rearrange what promises to be a thrilling Anglo-Welsh Cup Final, which will now kickstart the Easter weekend for fans in style.

“We are aware there are some planned engineering works on that day which will add time to journeys so we are encouraging all fans who intend to travel by train to book early so GWR can plan for the extra passengers travelling to Gloucester. More details are available from the GWR website.

“Tickets for the re-arranged date are now on sale from Gloucester Rugby. If you would like a refund you need to seek it directly from where you purchased your ticket. Refunds must be claimed by Noon on Tuesday, March 27.”

Tickets purchased from Exeter Chiefs:

Supporters unable to attend the rescheduled fixture must return the physical tickets to Exeter Chiefs, either in person to Main Reception or by post, before any refunds can be issued. Please post your tickets back to Ticket Office, Exeter Chiefs, Sandy Park Stadium, Sandy Park Way, Exeter, EX2 7NN. Please also provide your customer details, including the contact and payment details under which the booking was made, so that the refund can be processed. Refunds must be claimed by Noon on Tuesday, March 27

Tickets purchased from Gloucester Rugby

If your ticket was due to be collected from the Kingsholm Ticket Office on Sunday 18th March and you are unable to attend the new date, to obtain a refund please call Gloucester Rugby on 0871 871 8781 (Calls to this number cost 13p per minute from a BT landline. If you already are in receipt of your ticket and would like a refund you need to return your physical ticket either in person to the Gloucester Rugby Ticket Office or alternatively by post including your contact details.
