Exeter Chiefs Academy prop Josh Mann has been selected in the starting line-up for England U19 to take on Scotland this weekend.

Head coach Andy Titterrell has named the England U19 Men’s side to play this Saturday (14:00 kick-off) at Percy Park RFC.

Connor Treacey (Bath Rugby) resumes the role of captain for the meeting on Tyneside, with Titterrell opting for eight changes from the starting XV that travelled to La Roche-sur-Yon last weekend.

Treacey, alongside Jonny Weimann (Northampton Saints) and Tyler Offiah (Bath Rugby), return to Newcastle after making their U20 debuts at Kingston Park in a 57-13 win over Scotland in February.

Will Knight (Gloucester Rugby) and Elliot Williams (Harlequins) are introduced into the fold for their first starts at the U19 age-grade level following on from a 100% winning record in the 2025 U18 Men’s Six Nations Festival.

Leicester Tigers and England U18 Men’s duo George Marsh and Oscar Talbot, as well as James Pater of Northampton Saints, are also rewarded for their performances in Vichy and are named on the replacements bench. Front-row forwards Jamie Miller (Harlequins) and Jack Lightbown (Sale Sharks) are also named in the matchday squad.

The U19 Men side serves as an avenue for England Rugby pathway players to develop their skillsets with meaningful gametime on the international circuit, with fixtures also giving valuable minutes to players then eligible for U20 selection in the 2025 World Rugby U20 Championship in Italy.

Andy Titterrell said: “Following on from last weekend, our main objective is to abide by our principles of keeping the ball moving and knowing when to attack the space we see in front of us.

“The experience away from home to France was significant to the development of this young squad. They gave a positive account of themselves in many aspects, but our messaging is to level up our intensity.

“That determination, combined with another opportunity to showcase their talent, will motivate our players to conclude our spring programme positively in a big home fixture against Scotland.”
