In recognition of his exceptional dedication and outstanding contributions to the club, Exeter Chiefs can confirm that the 2024/25 season will be a testimonial year for Club Captain, Jack Yeandle.

This honour is a testament to Yeandle’s remarkable career and his positive impact on the team over the past decade and more.

Jack Yeandle, a cornerstone of Exeter Chiefs since his debut in 2012, has been a driving force behind the club’s rise to prominence in English rugby. His leadership, both on and off the field, has been instrumental in shaping the team’s success, including domestic and European triumphs.

Director of Rugby Rob Baxter expressed his admiration for Yeandle’s contributions to Chiefs upon the announcement.

“Jack embodies everything that is great about this club. His commitment, professionalism, and passion for Exeter Chiefs are unparalleled. He has been a role model for both his teammates and the supporters. This testimonial year is a fitting tribute to his extraordinary service.”

The testimonial year will feature a series of special events and activities celebrating Yeandle’s illustrious career. These events are not only a chance for fans to honour Jack, but also to support his chosen charities - British Heart Foundation and Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Reflecting on this honour, Yeandle shared his gratitude and excitement.

“It’s an incredible privilege to be awarded a testimonial year. I’m looking forward to celebrating with fans, friends and family - basically everyone who has supported me along the way - and making a positive impact through donations to my chosen charities.”

The first event in the ‘Yenz’s Year’ calendar is a fine dining experience not to be missed, a dinner with Cornish Michelin-starred Chef Nathan Outlaw on Thursday 5 September. This will be followed by a Bottomless Brunch on Saturday 16 November and a Rugby Pod Live evening on Thursday 13 February.

A Golf Day will be held in May and the year will be capped off with a coast to coast cycle and Closing Party on Saturday 21 June.

Further information on the events and tickets will be shared via Jack’s testimonial social media channels - @yenzsyear on Instagram and Facebook.
