Jack Innard Signs for Gloucester for 2025/26 Season

Exeter Chiefs hooker Jack Innard has agreed a move to Gloucester for the 2025/26 season.
The front rower will join the Gallagher Premiership rivals after near a decade as a Chief. In those years, Innard has made 83 appearances in all competitions, scoring 14 tries.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my years as a Chief,” Innard said. “Being a part of this club has helped me make amazing memories and form great friendships.
“I’ve had unforgettable moments like getting to lift the Premiership Rugby Cup as captain and I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every year I’ve spent here.
“I’d like to thank every teammate and coach that has helped me in my Chiefs journey. Also, to the fans, your support has always been fantastic – I’ve loved running out at Sandy Park in front of you all.”
The Cornishman originally picked up a rugby ball with Falmouth before a move to Truro gave him an introduction to the Chiefs Academy system at Truro College.
Plying his trade on loan to Championship side, Cornish Pirates, gave Innard an important introduction to regular first-team rugby.
After gaining international recognition for England U19 and U20 it was at 21 that the hooker was handed his Chiefs debut, running out at Sandy Park in an Anglo-Welsh Cup match against Cardiff Blues.
Over the years that followed, Innard became a familiar face amongst the Chiefs ranks and the supporters’ support of him was cemented by the Exeter Chiefs Supporters’ Club selecting him as one of their sponsored players.
Director of Rugby Rob Baxter commended the experienced player for his dedication to the club.
“We’d like to thank Jack for his hard work throughout his time as a Chief,” Baxter said. “When you look back, he’s been here a long time and been here through a period when we’ve won trophies.
“He’s been a valuable part of the squad. He came up through the academy and has ended up playing a lot of important games for us.
“We wish him all the best for his future. With him staying in the Premiership, we’ll be sure to bump into him again, so we hope things go well for him at Gloucester.”
Innard will complete the current season with Chiefs before moving to Kingsholm this summer.
