Young female rugby players from across the region will have the opportunity to hone their skills from the professionals, as the Exeter Chiefs Women's team stage a free-to-attend Rugby Festival at Truro College.
Participants for the event, which will be staged on Wednesday June 2, will be hosted by current Chiefs Women's assistant coach and former England hooker Amy Garnett, who will be sharing her wealth of knowledge of the game, as well as giving an insight into modern-day life at Sandy Park.
She will be joined at the festival by Chiefs and Netherlands captain, Linde van der Velden, as well as fellow Chiefs players Abby Middlebrooke, Milla Lynch-Barsby and Canadian international Emily Tuttosi.
Bringing all their experience from playing and coaching in this season's Allianz Premier 15s, the Chiefs group will work with players in the Under-13s, Under-15s and Under-18s age groups, focusing their attentions on skill development and fun games.
The training camp will start at 10am, with registration opening at 9.30am at the Lynher Building at Truro College.
On arrival, participants must queue for registration with a one metre gap between others, after which a full Covid-19 briefing will be given to everyone involved with the festival. Hand sanitiser will also be readily available throughout the course of the day.
Group sizes will be also limited and all staff at the camp will undergo in-house coronavirus testing measures prior to the camp.
