COO shortlisted for women’s business award
Exeter Rugby Club Ltd’s chief operating officer Natasha Pavis has been named as a finalist in the Devon Women in Business Awards.
Mrs Pavis has been shortlisted in the Customer Service Excellence category for her work at Exeter Rugby Club, which encompasses the Sandy Park Conference and Banqueting Centre.
Having started as the hospitality services manager at the club in 2006 when Sandy Park first opened, Mrs Pavis made her way up through the ranks to general manager in 2014, then as the business’s managing director in 2018 before being made COO this year.
The award entry focused on the growing success of the conference and banqueting centre, which celebrated its best year to date earlier this year, combined with the growth of the rugby club in terms of its fan base and enhanced customer experience.
Mrs Pavis said: “It was a real honour to be shortlisted for this award. Customer service is critical to what we do here at Sandy Park and is pivotal to our success. I am delighted to be shortlisted for this award, along with all the businesswomen from Devon who have been named as finalists.”
The Devon Women in Business Awards winners and highly commended businesses will be announced at a presentation dinner at Winslade Manor near Exeter on Saturday, November 9.
