Exeter Chiefs Under-18s will be looking to bounce back at the first attempt when they travel to rivals Bath in their latest Premiership Rugby Under-18s League clash at the Recreation Ground.
Undone in their seasonal opener by London Irish last weekend, the Chiefs are hoping a strong week on the training field will pay dividends when they make the short trek to the Roman City tomorrow.
“I feel we were in the game for the majority of the match last week, but we created too many individual errors and lacked a bit of edge and fight,” said Academy coach Marek Churcher.
“This week we have had a big focus on our intensity and concentration in everything we do and the lads’ response in training has been excellent. We know Bath away will be a good challenge for the boys, but we are all looking forward to it.”
Team news for the visitors sees a number of changes made to last week’s starting line-up. Up front, there are starts for Cian Goldsmith, Will Goffey, Scott Butterworth and Joe Stansfield, while in the backs Frankie Dart is shunted from full-back to the left wing, Alex Gozzard comes into the centre, meaning Arthur Relton switches to the anchor slot.
