Chiefs earn home semi-final in Cup

Premiership Rugby can confirm that Sale Sharks have emerged from the pool stages of the Premiership Rugby Cup as the No 1 seeds, finishing with a near-perfect record of 19 points.

This means that the Sharks – as first seeds - will host Gallagher Premiership Rugby champions, Saracens, in the semi-finals. Exeter Chiefs are confirmed as No 2 seeds and will host Harlequins in the other last-four clash.

The semi-finals – which will be staged one on each weekend - will be shown live on BT Sport on the weekends of 31 January-2 February and 7-9 February. The exact order will be announced in early November.

The Final will be staged at the club of the highest-ranked Finalist on Sunday, 15 March.
