Exeter Chiefs duo Jack Nowell and Luke Cowan-Dickie have both been named in the England side for this weekend’s series decider against Australia.
England will take on the Wallabies at Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday, July 16 [11am], with the series at 1-1 following a 25-17 win last weekend.
Nowell will once again start on the right wing for the visitors, while Cowan-Dickie has again been named amongst the replacements. Elsewhere, Ollie Chessum (lock) comes in in the second row, for his first start for England. Lewis Ludlam (open-side flanker) is the second change to the forward pack.
In an unchanged front row hooker Jamie George is joined by props Ellis Genge and Will Stuart.
Captain Courtney Lawes is blind-side flanker, Jonny Hill stays at lock and Billy Vunipola is No. 8.
Danny Care comes in at scrum-half in the only backs change. Marcus Smith is at fly half, Owen Farrell is inside centre and Guy Porter is outside centre.
Tommy Freeman stays on the left wing, Nowellon the right and Freddie Steward is at full-back.
Jones said: “We’ve had a squad of 36 this tour who have competed hard and we’re really proud of their efforts.
“We go into this Test with a strong squad of 23. It’s a young, inexperienced but together group who have developed well throughout this series. We want to play with purpose and energy to win the series and an historic Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground.”
Australia v England is live on Sky Sports Main Event and BBC Radio 5 Live.
