Supporters of Exeter Chiefs can put their best foot forward in helping raise case for the club's official charity, the Exeter Foundation, by signing up for the Big Walk 2018
The 10-mile sponsored walk, which over the years has raised thousands for the Exeter Foundation, returns on August 18, 2018.
Sponsored by South West Communications, Northcott Beaton, Santander and Land Rover Experience, the Big Walk starts and finishes at recently reopened Sandy Park, and takes in a flat, scenic route through the River Exe Valley.
Participants will receive a t-shirt on arrival, which can be worn for the duration of the walk if desired. On completion, food and drink tokens will be issued.
Following the Walk, participants can enjoy the Chiefs in competitive action when they entertain Cardiff Blues in one of their three pre-season fixtures ahead of the 2018/19 season.
Speaking about the event, Exeter Foundation Trustee Keiron Northcott said: “The Big Walk is a fantastic event; participants are able to travel through the beautiful River Exe Valley in a way they may not usually, plus enjoy the fantastic facilities at Sandy Park, while getting exercise and raising money for the Exeter Foundation.”
Registration on the day will be from 9.30am in the wigwam bar at Sandy Park Stadium with a 10.30am prompt start!
Entry is £25 per person, or team entry (4 persons) is £100. Team leaders will be contacted after purchase for details of all team members.
Please note that any children under 16 taking part must be accompanied by an adult.
