Exeter Chiefs star Thomas Waldrom has been named on the shortlist for the prestigious RPA Players' Player of the Year award for 2016.
After another stunning season for the try-scoring No.8, Waldrom will battle it out for the much coveted prize along with Andy Goode (Newcastle Falcons) and Wasps' trio George Smith, Nathan Hughes and Charles Piutau.
Currently leading the try-scoring charts in the Aviva Premiership and European Champions Cup, it's been another season to remember for the England international who has collected 19 tries this term.
Since joining from rivals Leicester Tigers at the start of the 2014/15 season, the 33-year-old has proved seemingly unstoppable when it comes to scoring, claiming a staggering 36 tries in just 52 appearances.
Waldrom will find out if he has been crowned Player of the Year at the RPA's annual awards dinner, which will be held at the Battersea Evolution in London on Wednesday, May 11.
