Exeter Chiefs prop Tomas Francis won his 10th international cap as he helped Wales record their fifth consecutive win over France in this season’s RBS Six Nations Championship.

Francis was used as a second half replacement for tight-head Samson Lee in the 19-10 victory at the Principality Stadium and is sure to be part of Warren Gatland’s plans for a potential Six Nations title showdown with England at Twickenham on March 12.

George North's second try in as many games helped Wales open up a 13-point lead early in the second half.

France enjoyed long periods of pressure, but by the time Guilhem Guirado drove over it was too late to matter.

Ospreys fly-half Dan Biggar kicked 14 points for the Welsh, whilst the remainder of France’s points were shared between Francois Trinh-Duc and Jules Plisson.
