Exeter Chiefs back Michele Campagnaro has been named in the Italian starting XV for their RBS Six Nations opener with France on Saturday.

Signed in the summer from Benetton Treviso, Campagnaro has impressed many at Sandy Park this season with some eye-catching displays.

He will start against Les Bleus in Paris at outside centre, the same position he has filled for the Chiefs in both the Aviva Premiership and European Champions Cup in recent weeks.

Campagnaro, 22, is one of two Premiership-based players named in the Italian side, the other is Wasps prop Lorenzo Cittadini.

As always, the imposing Sergio Parisse skippers the side from No.8
