Nowell named in England team
By Mark Stevens
Exeter Chiefs back Jack Nowell has retained his place in the England team for the Calcutta Cup match with Scotland at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday (5pm, live on BBC One).
The Cornishman was recalled to Stuart Lancaster's side for England's away game with Ireland last time out, but was unable to prevent England from slipping to a 19-9 loss at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Nowell will line-up for his seventh international cap in an England side that shows two changes in personnel with Mike Brown (Harlequins) and Courtney Lawes (Northampton Saints) both return in place of Saracens pair Alex Goode and George Kruis.
Leicester Tigers second row Geoff Parling - who next season will be joining the Chiefs - and Northampton Saints back row Tom Wood also come back into the match day squad, while Kieran Brookes (Newcastle Falcons) makes a return from a hip injury.

“It’s been an intense two weeks of training as everyone wants to be on that field on Saturday and we have had to make some tough selection calls.
“Coming back to Twickenham will be huge for us and we are determined to put in a performance against a strong and motivated Scotland team.”
