Networking event is a real success
The picturesque Woodbury Park Golf & Country Club was the ideal setting as “PA’s & Hospitality Executives” from Premiership Rugby and the Rugby Football Union gathered for an inaugural catch-up event.
Such are the high demands of top flight and international rugby these days, leading club officials are often bogged down in endless paperwork and don't get the chance to meet with their counterparts from across the country.
Far too often they are restricted to either phone calls or emails in terms of communicating with one another - and the chance to catch up is something that is often put on the back burners.
However, thanks to Toni Percival, PA to Exeter Rugby Club's chief executive Tony Rowe OBE, a large number of the group were recently able to enjoy a fun-filled weekend in the heart of Devon,
Meeting at Woodbury Park, the group met on the hotel's terrace for Fizz & Canapés before enjoying a detailed tour of Woodbury Park and it's facilities, which include their very own rugby pitch and training area. Once the tour had been completed, the group then retired for an opportunity to network before enjoying an evening meal together and an overnight stay…
Commenting on the event, Toni said: "The evening was a huge success and we had lots of positive feedback. It was great everyone made the long journey down to Devon to attend and we hope there will be another opportunity to network in the future."
