Exeter Braves side to face Bristol
By Mark Stevens
Exeter Braves are in action this evening in the Aviva Premiership A League when they travel to Bristol United for their third game of the season at Clifton RFC (7:30pm).
Having narrowly lost in their opening game of the season at home to defending champions Saracens Storm, the Braves returned to winning ways last time out when they won 40-3 against Bath United at the Recreation Ground.
Once again coach Ricky Pellow has assembled a powerful line-up, headed up by skipper Kai Horstmann, for the short trek up the M5.
Teaming up alongsideĀ Horstmann in the visiting ranks will be experienced names such as Brett Sturgess, Ben White, Byron McGuigan and Namibian international Chrysander Botha.
Rugby League convert Josh Jones will get another chance to impress in front of the Exeter coaches in the centre, while Academy youngsters Jack Maunder and Joe Simmonds - both of whom have been impressing this term with loan clubs Redruth and Taunton - form the Braves half-back pairing.
