Chiefs set for more on-air TV time
By Mark Stevens
Exeter Chiefs are set for more on-air exposure over the coming months after Premiership Rugby and BT Sport today confirmed their latest TV picks.
Taking in Round 10-14 in English rugby’s top flight, Rob Baxter’s side will now be on the screens three of the four weeks following the announcement.
The first appearance will come in Round 10 when they travel to Sixways on Sunday, January 31 for their clash with newly-promoted Worcester Warriors.
Round 11 will also be televised when the BT crew head for Sandy Park on Sunday, February 7 when Saracens are the visitors in a (1pm) kick-off.
Exeter’s Round 12 meeting away to Sale Sharks on Saturday, February 13 remains untouched and will not be televised, but a week later they will be on the box once more as their encounter at London Irish has now been switched to Sunday, February 21 (3pm).
BT Sport, who have confirmed they will show only two live TV fixtures on RBS 6 Nations weekends, wrap up the latest picks in Round 14 with another trip back to Devon for the home derby with Bath on Sunday, February 28 (1pm).
