Heineken UK have this week toasted the success of Exeter Rugby Club by extending their long-standing partnership with the Aviva Premiership side through to 2019.

The new agreement will see the UK’s leading cider and beer producer continue to provide a wide range of draught and packaged ale, lager and ciders at the Devon club’s multi-million pound Sandy Park Stadium.

In a partnership which continues to grow year on year, Heineken underlined their commitment to promoting the club and their own brand earlier this year when they launched the new ‘Tomahawk Bar’ for use on all match-days.

EWelcoming the new agreement, Multiple Account Manager for Heineken, Keith Benton, said: “Heineken are delighted to be the official cider and beer provider to Sandy Park, home to Exeter Rugby Club.

“Like the Chiefs on the field, we have seen our business with the Rugby Club follow an equally impressive upward curve.

“To be associated with the Premier Sporting Club in the Westcountry is a real honour for us as a company and I’ve no doubt that over the duration of this new agreement, we will continue to enjoy a fantastic partnership.”

Exeter Rugby Club chairman and chief executive, Tony Rowe OBE, said: “For a number of years now we have enjoyed a terrific working relationship with Heineken UK, particularly on a local working level with Keith Benton and his team.

“As you can imagine, Sandy Park has a very high turnover in terms of beer sales, particularly on match-days, so it’s vital that we have a reliable and quality provider – and that we do thanks to Heineken UK.”
