BT Sport to screen Chiefs at Saints

Exeter's first game of 2016 will be a televised away day trip to Aviva Premiership rivals Northampton Saints.

Rob Baxter's side will head to Franklin's Gardens on New Year's Day for a 3pm kick-off in one of ten games that have today been confirmed for coverage on BT Sport.

The game will be Exeter's only apperance on the box during the festive period with the home encounter against Sale Sharks on Boxing Day (3pm) and the eagerly anticipated meeting with Gloucester at Sandy Park on Saturday, January 9 also set for a 3pm kick-off.

Tickets for both fixtures at Sandy Park have today gone on sale to the public, who can also purchase tickets for the upcoming Premiership games with London Irish (Oct 24), Leicester Tigers (Nov 7) and Harlequins (Nov 28)

“We’d like to thank BT Sport for joining us in putting supporters first with this announcement as we know how important it is for fans to plan their Christmas and New Year holidays,” said Premiership Rugby’s Commercial Director Dominic Hayes.

“The list takes in three weeks of the season when there are some of the biggest club games in the world taking place and when we expect bumper crowds to attend the Aviva Premiership Rugby matches.”
