Prem Rugby seal new online deal

Premiership Rugby today announced an exciting new partnership with News UK, that gives members of News UK's online titles access to post match clips of Aviva Premiership Rugby matches.

Kicking off this evening with Bath Rugby versus Saracens, online and app members of The Sun, Times and Sunday Times will be able to enjoy clips of each game, when and where they want to via their smart phone, tablets and PCs.

"Aviva Premiership Rugby is growing every season and this partnership brings the league to a brand new platform," said Premiership Rugby's Commercial Director, Dominic Hayes.

"Our TV deals with BT Sport and ITV and the ongoing success of our online content such as PremiershipRugby.tv, the eplayer and our You Tube channel shows the appeal of Aviva Premiership Rugby on multiple platforms. This new deal brings a really compelling online offering for The Sun, Times and Sunday Times subscribers."

This latest deal to bolster News UK's portfolio of sports rights across all titles will run until June 2017.
