Match-Day Plans for Bath
We all know match-days at Sandy Park are something special and this weekend’s is no different as Exeter Chiefs prepare to continue the defence of their LV= Cup crown at home to Premiership rivals Bath Rugby this Saturday (4.30pm).
Having kicked off the LV= season with a thrilling 28-27 victory over Gloucester a week ago, Rob Baxter's side will be hoping to make it 'two from two' against their nearest neighbours, who they defeated in the semi-final stages of this competition last season.
With the Chiefs desperate to keep up their impressive home run, as well as build momentum ahead of next week's return to Aviva Premiership action at Northampton Saints, head coach Baxter has selected a full-strength line-up that will again be lead by Aussie ace Dean Mumm.
Also included in the line-up is new signing Byron McGuigan, who will make his debut at full-back, while he will be joined in the Exeter back division by Henry Slade and Jack Nowell, both of whom were released from England training on Wednesday.
The day is also doubling up as our special 'Services Day' where current Armed Forces and Emergency Service Personnel can gain FREE entry into the ground (whilst tickets last). They must, however, provide a valid ID when requesting a ticket.
Tickets for this game have been selling very well with almost 11,000 sold at the close of play on Friday. Those who have yet to purchase tickets can do so via the official Chiefs website - supporters are advised to buy before the game in a bid to avoid disappointment.
PRE-MATCH
With LV= Cup action returning to Sandy Park for the first time this season, the stadium opens to the general public from 1.30pm, where upon supporters can make use of the many match-day bars and food outlets, which for this season also includes a new match-day carvery.
The two-course carvery, which can be booked in advance via the official Chiefs website, is priced at £16 per person and is available in the County Suite with sittings at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. Walk-up diners are welcome on match-days, but be advised that if demand is high you run the risk of missing a particular sitting.
Ahead of kick-off itself, the QBE Autumn international between England and New Zealand will be shown live on all the screens around the stadium, so make sure you arrive early and get stuck in for an afternoon of top class rugby.
For those taking in our Corporate Experience for the day, they will be royally entertained by Chris Whitehead, who scored in last season's LV= Cup final, and current Chiefs Brett Sturgess, Alex Brown, Kai Horstmann and Mitch Lees.
Prior to the game itself, the Chiefs will be observing a moment's silence in memory of all those Servicemen and Women who have lost their lives in conflicts over the years - and also to former player Geoff Edmondson OBE, who sadly passed away at Sandy Park during last Saturday's game with Gloucester.

Back in harness again last week against the Cherry & Whites, 'Derek The Otter' will once again be lining-up a string of contestants to not only test their kicking skills, but at the same time win the chance to tackle the Otter Brewery mascot and win a case of beer.
Supporters will also get the chance to win some of the award-winning Darts Farm Cheese in our latest ‘Cheesy Tune’, which this week will be brought to you with the soundtrack of 'Surfin USA' as voted by listeners of Radio Exe.
POST-MATCH
It all begins with the traditional Man of the Match award presentations on the pitch, before we invite you all inside to the Exeter Suite for a night of musical mayhem brought to you by our two bands - Blue Room Baboons and Big Foot. Over in the Wigwam, Disco Danny will be belting out a host of hits with his post-game party.
With food and drink aplenty available, why leave the party early as you can dance the night away before then making the most of our late Bus Services back into the City Centre. Please note, bus times are varied this game due to the later kick-off time.
