Exeter Chiefs fly-half Myles Dorrian is among five top flight players who will battle it out for the Aviva Community Player of the Season Award at this month's Aviva Premiership Awards Night in London.

The Aussie ace has been shortlisted alongside Tinus Du Plessis of London Wasps, Soane Tonga'uiha (Northampton Saints), Jamie George (Saracens) and Shaun Perry (Worcester Warriors) after they were all adjudged to contributed to a number of local and national projects, going above and beyond the call of duty, supporting a variety of causes.

"We see 600 role models from our clubs operating every season and these five have produced an exceptional season to make it on to this shortlist," said Premiership Rugby's Head of Community, Wayne Morris. "We are very proud of our Community Programme and of the efforts from these five players. Picking the winner will be very difficult as they have all produced compelling cases to win."

The winners will be announced on Thursday, May 9 at the sold-out Aviva Premiership Rugby Awards at The Hilton, Park Lane.  The event will be covered live on Twitter via the @premrugby account
