Exeter Chiefs will feature in two televised fixtures following the confirmation of the latest TV picks for Rounds 8-12 in this season's Aviva Premiership.
The pick of which for Rob Baxter's side will be their festive fixture away to Harlequins in 'Big Game 6' at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday, December 28 (4pm).
The other Chiefs clash set to be beamed out by BT Sport will be the short trek to Bath's Recreation Ground on Saturday, November 30 (3.15pm).
“Harlequins’ Christmas trip to Twickenham Stadium has become an unmissable fixture in the English rugby calendar and it is fitting that the BT Sport cameras should make another trip to HQ for this game,” said Dominic Hayes the Commercial Director at Premiership Rugby.
“We have already heard that many Chiefs’ fans have made plans to make the journey East so it should be an unforgettable Aviva Premiership Rugby occasion with a cracking atmosphere.”
Live TV Audiences are booming in Aviva Premiership Rugby, up 130% on the first two weekends compared to a year earlier.
Hayes added: “The first two weekends with BT Sport were a big success. The figures prove the huge interest in Aviva Premiership Rugby and we are delighted to see all of the hard work delivering results.”
The new set of live TV selections by BT Sport, announced today, kick off in round eight when Sale Sharks entertain Worcester Warriors at 7.45pm on Friday 22 November. The round eight live TV matches are rounded off with Newcastle Falcons trip to Northampton Saints on Saturday 23 November (3.15pm) and a day later the
BT Sport cameras will arrive at Adams Park to show London Wasps take on Bath Rugby.
