Clarky's Last Farewell

Neil ClarkCome along to Sandy Park on Sunday 12 May to see Neil Clark lead the "Clarky's Classic XV" side against the "Cornwall Select XV" in Neil’s Testimonial Match (KO 4pm)

2012/13 has been a momentous year for Exeter Chiefs Hooker Neil Clark. Not only did Neil become a father for the second time, but he also published his rugby life story in the book ‘It was Never My Ambition to Become a Hooker’. He was also granted the honour of a testimonial season by Exeter Chiefs for whom Neil has made 187 appearances in all competitions scoring 14 tries, including a memorable one against Leinster in this year’s Heineken Cup.

Neil was thrilled to have been honoured with a testimonial season and of the many organised events it is his Testimonial Match on Sunday that Neil is most looking forward to. The match is billed as a clash between Devon and Cornwall and Neil hopes that Chiefs fans will turn out in large numbers to watch the game and say goodbye to a much loved Exeter player. It will be a fun filled family afternoon with local comedian Tank Sherman providing both pitch side analysis and after match entertainment, and a few surprises throughout the afternoon.

Tickets can be purchased from the Chiefs Trading Post at Sandy Park, via this website (tickets) or on the day at the South turnstile. Admission is just £10 for adults, £5 for children and under-5s get in FREE.

All proceeds will go to the Neil Clark Testimonial Fund, The Exeter Foundation and The Ryan Edwards Appeal.
