Clarky says his goodbyes
By Mark Stevens
Exeter Chiefs hooker Neil Clark admits he will miss life at Sandy Park after he bid an emotional farewell to the club on Sunday.
The popular forward was given a rousing send off ahead of his summer move to newly-promoted Top 14 side Oyonnax in his Testimonial Match on Sunday.
Bringing together a number of the club's former stars to tackle a Cornwall Select XV, the 31-year-old played a starring role as his team triumphed 72-48.
The Cornishman marked his special send-off with two tries before then taking the microphone and delivering a heartfelt farewell message to the crowd of 1,200 people.
"I won't lie, Sunday was a pretty tough day for me," said Clark. "Saying goodbye to the boys, people at the club, and all the fans was really tough. I knew saying goodbye was never going to be easy, but I didn't think it would be quite that bad.

"The suppport I've received in both spells at the club has been amazing and that is something that will always live with me. To have so many people come out for the game on Sunday was terrific and I'd like to thank everyone who has supported me, not just in that game, but throughout my Testimonial Year.
"Exeter and the Chiefs will always have a special place in my heart and I know once I've finished over in France, I'm sure I will be back here again and cheering the boys on."
