Chiefs lend support to Men's Walk
Hospiscare Men’s Walk for 2013 has been given some sizeable backing after Exeter Chiefs stars Will Carrick-Smith, Mark Foster and Watisoni Votu helped to carry out this week’s official launch at Sandy Park.
Now into its second year, the hugely popular Men’s Walk follows a 10k circular route around the city, starting and finishing at the home of the region’s top sporting club.
Helping to kick-off registration for the event on Saturday, March 16, the Chiefs trio took time out from their hectic training schedule to help promote the event, which last year helped to raise thousands of pounds for Hospiscare.

Twelve months ago over 600 men took part in the walk and organisers are hopeful that figure will be beaten this time around. Already people are signing up to the event, including one man who has already donated £1,000 to the cause.

Old Mill, who provide tax and financial planning services for business owners and private individuals from their offices in Exeter, are the main sponsors of this year's event, which costs £15 to enter and registration is open to anyone aged 12 and over.
