A try-scorer for England against the Barbarians in May 2011, Tom went on to pick up his maiden Test try on his fourth appearance against Fiji in the QBE International at Twickenham last November.
Exeter’s first full England international since Martin Underwood in 1964, Johnson joined the Chiefs in 2000 having previously appeared for Chinnor, Reading and Coventry.
And since arriving in Devon, the all-action flanker has helped to play a key role in the rise of the Chiefs firstly out of the Championship and then into one of the top six sides in English rugby.
Playing in all 44 matches in Exeter Chiefs’ first two campaigns in the Premiership, Johnson saw his third season halted when he picked up a serious injury during the club’s Heineken Cup home game with Leinster.
However, Johnson was determined to return to full fitness and his efforts were rewarded when he was part of the England touring squad that visited South America during the summer of 2013.
